Mr. Sebastian Shaw

A service of thanksgiving for the life of Mr. Sebastian Shaw was held yesterday at St. Paul's Covent Garden. Canon Bill Hall, Senior Chaplain, Actor's Church Union, officiated. Mr. Frank Middlemass gave the eulogy.
Mr. Ian Richardson and Mr. Ben Kingsley read from the works of Shakespeare. Miss Estelle Kohler read The Ways of Love by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Mr. Alan Ravenscroft, Gemini, a poem by Mr. Shaw, Miss Sheila Allen from Life by George Herbert and Mr. Kenneth Branagh from the works of Canon Henry Scott Holland.
Mr. Stephen Varcoe (baritone) sang Brahm's Wie bist du meine Konigin, accompanied by Mr. Graham Johnson (piano). Mr. Martin Best played guitar and sang his own composition of Ariel's Songs from The Tempest. Among others present were:
